Avoid dishwashing liquid, bar soap, and harsh chemicals, as these damage brush fibres and build up in your brushes which can then irritate your skin.. Dry flat in natural sunlight or with bristles angled down to avoid water entering the ferrule and loosening the glue that holds the bristles in place. Always remove excess water and reshape your brush during the cleaning process.
